Agree. Great design is great — to a point. Now, there is still much to do. I just got a 16 inc MacBook Pro and it’s a great machine but I also landed in dongle hell. It is just as thick as the 2012 MacBook Pro it replaced and on the old one I had all the relevant connectors; USB-3, HDMI an Mini Display Port. And the magnetic power cable. Now these are all replaced wiht dongles. (Well not the magnetic power cable that saved me more than once when one of the dogs got tangled up in in the cable.)
